war mal in Florida
Much cooler air is headed for the southern states...
A cold front moving south into Florida will trigger a few showers and thunderstorms there today, while high pressure dominates the rest of the southeast bringing mostly sunny skies. After a chilly start this morning, temperatures will warm during the afternoon. Moisture will return on the back side of the high pressure, allowing for showers and a few thunderstorms to develop over parts of the Lower Mississippi River Valley. A new, stronger cold front will enter the area Sunday, increasing the chances for showers and thunderstorms over much of the south. This cold front will move well south of the area by Monday, allowing much cooler air to settle in.
