Hallo!
, LG, Capecoralfan

LCEC is proud to offer an environmentally friendly way for you to conserve energy and reduce your electric bill. The LCEC Heat Recovery Unit (HRU) Program is a partnership with select local air conditioning contractors to provide HRU installation to you at a discounted price.
[h=3]How does a Heat Recovery Unit (HRU) work?[/h]An HRU takes the waste heat expelled during the air-conditioning process and uses it to heat your hot water. Your hot-water tank becomes a storage unit for the hot water, rather than the source for heating it. During air-conditioning season, you can shut off the breaker to the hot-water system and virtually heat your water for free.
[h=3]LCEC’s HRU Program Details[/h]
[h=3]What are the benefits?[/h]Savings! The more people in your home, the more you save. For example, a family of four using their air conditioner for nine months can save 3,105 kW per year. That’s a savings of more than $300 a year in electrical costs with an estimated three-year payback on the initial investment to install the unit. Needless to say, if you use your air conditioner more than nine months, the payback will be even sooner.
